¡@ Specification of Semi-finished Products

The semi-finished products indicate either film-coated rods or sorted cap rods. These semi-finished objects can be processed further by steps of film-cutting, lead wire welding and resin coating to produce the resistors.

Futaba can provide both film-coated rods and sorted cap rods. Based on the aluminum oxide content in the sintering formulation of the rods, the rods can be categorized into 75% and 85%. Thought this content is not fixed and we can always customize to fulfill customer¡¦s needs. There are two kinds of resistive film available: Ni-P alloy film and Tin oxide film. The size of the rods available is flexible and can be customer made.

(1). Coating (2 digits): MO=Tin oxide film; MN=Ni-P alloy film
(2). Rod type (3 digits): Based on the codes provided by the rods supplier
(3). Dimension (4 digits): first two digits indicate diameter and the last two digits indicate length
(4). Capping (1 digit): ¡§+¡¨= sorted cap rods; ¡§-¡¨= film-coated rods
(5). Resistance range (6 digits): The first and the last three digits show the resistance range.
