Introduction : ¡@

 The capacitors are constructed with a Metallized Polyester film dielectric,

 copper-ply lead, encapsulated in plastic case with epoxy resin sealed. They

 provide Interference Suppression of class Y. VDE 0565-1 approval file No.

 12251-4670- 1001/A1K and meet the standards of  UL 1414, CSA C22.2

  NEMKO 132/85.

Applications :

 Ideal for use in Line by-pass antenna coupling, across-the-line and spark killer

 circuits. available or EMI filter. and switching power supply applications.

Features : ¡@

  Non-inductive construction

  Self-healing properties.

  Flame-retardant plastic case and epoxy resin. (compliance with UL 94v-0)

  High moisture-resistance.

  Good solderability. ( tinplated with 60Sn/40Pb ).

Application of Line-By-Pass

General specification :

  Operating temperature range :  - 40 ~ + 85C

  Rated voltage :   250VAC, 50~60Hz

  Capacitance range :   0.001uF ~ 0.047uF

  Capacitance tolerance :  J ( 5% ), K ( 10% ), M ( 20% )

  Dissipation factorDF 1.0% when measured at 1KHz 25C

  Insulation resistance :  IR >=15000 M measured after a charging voltage 100 15VDC for 1 minute.

  Dielectric strength test :  Applied 1500 VAC for 1 minute.

  Humidity test :  Will withstand the test of R.H. 95% at 40C for 21 days. After the test, the capacitance

                              drift 5%, IR>=50% of specified value.

 Life test :   At 85C applied the test with 440 VAC for 1008 hours. During this period, applied 0.1 sec of

                       1000 VAC 60Hz for each hour. The capacitor must meet the following limits.

                        A ) Capacitance drift 10% of the initial value.

                        B ) Insulation resistance >= 50% of specified value.

  Lead pull test :  will withstand a steady pull of 4 kg applied axially for 10 seconds.

  Lead bend test :  The test consists of attaching a load of 1 kg to the capacitor 90C from the direction

                                 of lead egress, then 180 in opposite direction and back to starting point. The lead will

                                sustain two cycles without breaking.
